Music Anthology

C'est la vie is an ode to heartbreak, delicately sprinkled with wit and humor. The EP provides a vibey bop in "Greetings From Atlanta", a heartfelt, male bash anthem in, "Damn Daniel", and you'll find an emotion filled, heartstring pulling ballad in, Erykah Badu. All together each track tells a story you'll want to keep on repeat.

A moving, reflective song that offers both nostalgia and freshness, "Thirty3" demonstrates what Kevonna Rose does best: relate to her listeners. Reflecting on an almost there love story, Rose's gorgeous vocal performance captures the maturity of letting go, the selfishness of hoping you're still in their thoughts, the vulnerability and honesty, the love and pain, all at once. Hyper-relatable and not to mention totally tear jerking, "Thirty3" feels like a walk down memory lane, with the perspective of someone who's lived a few lives.

The songwriter and vocalist returns with a tongue-in-cheek breakup bop, "That's Fine." Sassy, empowering, and bold, "That's Fine" showcases Kevonna Rose's pop sensibilities, lyrical prowess, impressive vocal range, and, most of all, her badass persona. "You're just an asshole... and that's fine," Rose sings in her self-assured sugary sweet tone, her smooth vocals soaring over catchy pop guitar riffs, a relaxed backbeat, and lush layers of dreamy harmonies. Hyper-relatable and not to mention totally iconic, "That's Fine" is the breakup anthem we didn't know we needed.
